Welcome to Soho Storage. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our storage services. By accessing or using our facilities, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
1. Introduction
Soho Storage is committed to providing secure, reliable, and convenient storage solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Whether you're storing personal belongings, business inventory, or specialized items, our facilities are designed to offer you peace of mind and ease of access. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and obligations associated with using our storage services. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities when utilizing our services.
2. Definitions
- "Provider" refers to Soho Storage, the entity offering storage services.
- "Customer" refers to the individual or entity entering into an agreement with Soho Storage to rent a storage unit.
- "Storage Unit" refers to the physical space allocated to a Customer for storing items as per their rental agreement.
- "Agreement" refers to the contract formed between Soho Storage and the Customer outlining the terms of service use.
3. Use of Services
Customers are granted access to their designated Storage Units based on the terms specified in their rental agreement. It is imperative that Customers adhere to all guidelines to ensure the safety and integrity of the facilities. Unauthorized access, misuse, or violation of the service terms may result in termination of the agreement without prior notice.
3.1 Storage Unit Access
Access to your storage unit is available from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week. To facilitate access, Customers will be provided with keys or access codes. It is the Customer's responsibility to secure these credentials and ensure they are not shared with unauthorized individuals. Soho Storage reserves the right to adjust access hours based on operational needs, with reasonable notice provided to Customers.
3.2 Prohibited Use
The following items are strictly prohibited within the storage units to maintain safety and compliance with regulations:
- Hazardous materials, including but not limited to chemicals, flammable liquids, and explosives.
- Perishable goods that may attract pests or generate unsanitary conditions.
- Illegal substances or items that violate local, state, or federal laws.
- Items that exceed size or weight limits as specified in the rental agreement.
- Any material or products that could cause harm to the facility's structure or other tenants.
4. User Obligations
As a Customer of Soho Storage, you agree to uphold the following obligations to maintain a harmonious and secure environment:
- Security: Maintain the confidentiality of your access keys or codes. Report any lost or stolen access credentials immediately.
- Compliance: Ensure that all stored items adhere to the prohibited items policy and any other applicable regulations.
- Maintenance: Keep the storage unit clean and free from clutter that could potentially damage the facility or harm other Customers.
- Notification: Inform Soho Storage promptly of any damage, issues, or changes related to your storage unit.
- Legal Use: Utilize the storage unit solely for lawful purposes. The storage space should not be used for any illegal activities or to store illicit materials.
5. Payment Terms
Timely payment is essential to continue enjoying uninterrupted storage services. All payments for storage units are due on a monthly basis, aligned with the agreed-upon billing cycle.
5.1 Payment Methods
Soho Storage offers multiple payment options to accommodate the diverse preferences of our Customers. Accepted payment methods include:
- Credit and debit cards
- Electronic bank transfers
- Personal and business checks
- Automatic recurring payments through authorized platforms
5.2 Late Fees
Customers are required to ensure that payments are made by the specified due date. In cases where payments are not received on time, Soho Storage reserves the right to apply a 5% late fee on the overdue amount. Persistent late payments may result in suspension of access privileges or termination of the storage agreement.
5.3 Refund Policy
Should a Customer decide to terminate their storage agreement before the end of the billing cycle, a prorated refund may be issued based on the remaining days in the cycle, subject to Soho Storage's policies and any applicable fees.
6. Security and Access
At Soho Storage, the security of your belongings is paramount. We employ state-of-the-art security measures to ensure the safety and integrity of all stored items. Our security protocols include:
- 24/7 surveillance through high-definition CCTV cameras
- Secure locking systems with restricted access codes
- Regular patrols and on-site security personnel
- Alarm systems to detect unauthorized entry
Despite these measures, Customers are advised to secure high-value items with additional security if necessary. Soho Storage is not liable for loss or damage to stored items due to unauthorized access, theft, or other external factors beyond our control.
7. Liability
Soho Storage strives to maintain a secure environment for all Customers. However, we limit our liability in the following ways:
- Loss or Theft: Soho Storage is not responsible for the loss or theft of items stored within your designated unit. Customers are encouraged to obtain their own insurance coverage for valuable items.
- Damage: We are not liable for damage to stored items resulting from pest infestations, fire, natural disasters, or any other unforeseen events.
- Indirect Damages: Soho Storage is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our storage services.
Customers are advised to review their insurance policies and consider additional coverage to protect against potential risks associated with storing their belongings.
8. Termination
The storage agreement between Soho Storage and the Customer can be terminated under the following conditions:
- By the Customer: Customers may terminate the agreement by providing a 30-day written notice. All items must be removed from the storage unit by the end of the notice period.
- By Soho Storage: We reserve the right to terminate the agreement without notice in cases of non-payment, violation of terms, or other significant breaches of the contract.
Upon termination, any remaining items in the storage unit may be disposed of in accordance with local laws and regulations, following appropriate notice to the Customer.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Your State/Country. Any legal disputes arising from the use of Soho Storage's services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the specified jurisdiction.
10. Changes to Terms
Soho Storage reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to Customers via email or through our official communication channels. Continued use of our storage services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
We encourage Customers to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates or modifications that may affect their storage agreement.
